A letter I wrote for a nurse: I can't make friends here.

The nurse did not want to hear or read the letter I prepared.
I wanted to peacefully resolve our minor conflict so nothing festered.
I asked for it to be put in my chart, but I also want to document it on my website.

(Name),

You hurt my feelings, just now.

You suggested I was making friends when I was trying to 'peacemake' since the CCB says I will be here for life or die here and staff have told me not to interact with the patients.

I can't make friendships.

I am very lonely.

This is confusing direction, and you are staff here, and likely not on the pharmakeia.

Last time I was forced on pharmakeia, I slept with a fellow inpatient twice and I don't want that to happen again.

Not only that, I made two friendships I abandoned once I started getting off of the pharmakeia.

Please don't make a comment like that again.

I want to love my neighbours and my enemies.

I am in a difficult situation.

There was some irony, as she ran into the nursing station to avoid my letter, where I overheard a volunteer giving the other staff advise on conflict resolution. Specifically how conflict is not inherently a bad thing.
