A nurse wearing a cross tells me she is not a Christian

So I asked my nurse just now who is wearing a cross if she was a Christian.

She said 'No'.

I said 'But you're wearing a cross.'

Then I paused and said 'I have no further questions. I will keep praying for you'.

What. Is. Happening. Here. At. The. Royal. Abba!?

Update

She started wearing a second cross (a couple hours later, during the same shift). It is a Catholic cross. I noticed this when I was talking to her, in the capacity that she is my assigned nurse, and I am an involuntary patient.

I pointed out the second cross she was wearing.

Me: Are you Catholic?

Nurse; I am a Christian.

Me: You just said you were not Christian.

Nurse: I am a Catholic-Christian.

Me: Catholicism is not Christianity. Can I share an article with you on my tablet from theologians?

She declined to read the article I offered her from GotQuestions.org about the difference between Christianity and Catholicism.

I am a Catholic. Why should I consider becoming a Christian? What is the difference between a Christian and a Catholic?

What is happening, Abba? They can't seem to keep their story straight here at The Royal.

Update @ 14:10 - The nurse is now no longer wearing the second cross, which was a Catholic cross. I asked her if she was no longer Catholic, and she declined to answer.

What's actually happening, Abba?
