Dear Brothers and Sisters: If an occultist harms you, please try this sometime (if you'd like)

I am not a pastor, nor a theologian. I am just a black sheep. But, I am one of many fools for Christ.

Hi Brother.
Hi Sister.
I haven't met you.
But I love you enough that I would die for you.
(I might have trouble trusting you because of all of the abuse, though)

Before my 'advice'... I want to share John 13:34-35 and John 15 (And I cannot wait to hear yours. I have so much to learn from you! I think I am one of the weakest of God's elect. I can't wait to learn from my stronger and more knowledgeable brothers and sisters in Christ).

John 13:34-35

34 “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. 35 By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.”

John 15

The Vine and the Branches
15 “I am the true vine, and my Father is the gardener. He cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit he prunes[a] so that it will be even more fruitful. You are already clean because of the word I have spoken to you. Remain in me, as I also remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me.
“I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. If you do not remain in me, you are like a branch that is thrown away and withers; such branches are picked up, thrown into the fire and burned. If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. This is to my Father’s glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples.
“As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Now remain in my love. 10 If you keep my commands, you will remain in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commands and remain in his love. 11 I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete. 12 My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you. 13 Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends. 14 You are my friends if you do what I command. 15 I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master’s business. Instead, I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you. 16 You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit—fruit that will last—and so that whatever you ask in my name the Father will give you. 17 This is my command: Love each other.
The World Hates the Disciples
18 If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first. 19 If you belonged to the world, it would love you as its own. As it is, you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world. That is why the world hates you. 20 Remember what I told you: ‘A servant is not greater than his master.’[b] If they persecuted me, they will persecute you also. If they obeyed my teaching, they will obey yours also. 21 They will treat you this way because of my name, for they do not know the one who sent me. 22 If I had not come and spoken to them, they would not be guilty of sin; but now they have no excuse for their sin. 23 Whoever hates me hates my Father as well. 24 If I had not done among them the works no one else did, they would not be guilty of sin. As it is, they have seen, and yet they have hated both me and my Father. 25 But this is to fulfill what is written in their Law: ‘They hated me without reason.’[c]
The Work of the Holy Spirit
26 “When the Advocate comes, whom I will send to you from the Father—the Spirit of truth who goes out from the Father—he will testify about me. 27 And you also must testify, for you have been with me from the beginning.

If someone comes up to you, and mocks you, threatens you, tries to lure you into sin, spits on you, and strikes you, or any combination thereof, because you are a beloved child of God, here is my two cents (especially if they throw up a 666 hand sign).

Matthew 5:38-40

38 “You have heard that it was said, ‘Eye for eye, and tooth for tooth.’[a] 39 But I tell you, do not resist an evil person. If anyone slaps you on the right cheek, turn to them the other cheek also. 40 And if anyone wants to sue you and take your shirt, hand over your coat as well.

Turn the other cheek! Remind them that Jesus loves them, and through your conduct, show them that you do not fear them, nor their threats.

Matthew 10:28

28 And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.

I am trying something new, as of today. I may not do it each time I am 'messed' with, but it is another 'tool in my tool belt'.

Remind them, that God Almighty made you, that God made them, and that God even made the Devil.

That the Devil is doomed, to the lake of fire forever and ever, and that there is nothing he wants more than to take each and every one of his 'children' with him.

That if they have not accepted Christ Jesus as their Lord and Saviour, they too are destined for the lake of fire, because they are a child of the Devil by default. That you were once a child of the Devil too, but you have been redeemed. That you are no better than they. That you are saved by grace through the gift of faith, alone.

Luke 18:9-14

The Parable of the Pharisee and the Tax Collector
To some who were confident of their own righteousness and looked down on everyone else, Jesus told this parable: 10 “Two men went up to the temple to pray, one a Pharisee and the other a tax collector. 11 The Pharisee stood by himself and prayed: ‘God, I thank you that I am not like other people—robbers, evildoers, adulterers—or even like this tax collector. 12 I fast twice a week and give a tenth of all I get.’
13 “But the tax collector stood at a distance. He would not even look up to heaven, but beat his breast and said, ‘God, have mercy on me, a sinner.’
14 “I tell you that this man, rather than the other, went home justified before God. For all those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted.”

That, like how children do on the school yard, your Abba (Father, Heavenly Father, or Dad, whatever you want to use in the moment) made their 'Daddy' Satan, the Devil, and that your Abba is stronger and more powerful in every conceivable way then their 'daddy', and that you don't fear pain or death. That they need but believe in Jesus.

1 John 5:1-5

5 Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ has become a child of God. And everyone who loves the Father loves his children, too. We know we love God’s children if we love God and obey his commandments. Loving God means keeping his commandments, and his commandments are not burdensome. For every child of God defeats this evil world, and we achieve this victory through our faith. And who can win this battle against the world? Only those who believe that Jesus is the Son of God.

Our suffering will be for a little while, and our eternal reward will be forever and ever.

Luke 11:17-23

17 Jesus knew their thoughts and said to them: “Any kingdom divided against itself will be ruined, and a house divided against itself will fall. 18 If Satan is divided against himself, how can his kingdom stand? I say this because you claim that I drive out demons by Beelzebul. 19 Now if I drive out demons by Beelzebul, by whom do your followers drive them out? So then, they will be your judges. 20 But if I drive out demons by the finger of God, then the kingdom of God has come upon you.
21 “When a strong man, fully armed, guards his own house, his possessions are safe. 22 But when someone stronger attacks and overpowers him, he takes away the armor in which the man trusted and divides up his plunder.
23 “Whoever is not with me is against me, and whoever does not gather with me scatters.

Remember brethren:

John 13:16

16 Very truly I tell you, no servant is greater than his master, nor is a messenger greater than the one who sent him.

Romans 8:18

Yet what we suffer now is nothing compared to the glory he will reveal to us later.

Matthew 5:11-12

11 “God blesses you when people mock you and persecute you and lie about you and say all sorts of evil things against you because you are my followers. 12 Be happy about it! Be very glad! For a great reward awaits you in heaven. And remember, the ancient prophets were persecuted in the same way.

I'll never become a pastor. I'd much rather sit in the back pew and belt the hymns. But, I felt impelled to share this with the world.

I hope you have a lovely day, and our Abba, Christ Jesus, and the Holy Spirit shower you with blessings.

I.

Love.

You.
