on pharmakeia while a student at Georgian in Barrie, ON. (placement with Canadian Forces Base Borden)
I was strung out on pharmakeia for around two decades. Since I was thirteen (started with Prozac).
After I legally changed my name (to Leonard George Durdle Reynen, but later back to Steven Leonard Antony Reynen, my birth name), I ended up studying internet security at Georgian College in Barrie, ON.
I ended up getting a student placement at the nearby military base: Canadian Forces Base Borden doing technical support.
The problem was, I was on so much pharmakeia (I was an out patient of Dr. Eaton of The Royal at the time), namely Seroquel, that I could barely stay awake. I ended up getting stimulants prescribed (pharmakeia reserved for ADHD) to wake me up during the day.
I would drive to work in my dad's van that I borrowed from the family, falling asleep at the wheel. Then I would try my best to stay awake through the shift, having naps in my car on breaks.
One day I was so drugged, that I fell down the stairs carrying a bunch of laptops. I shielded the laptops as I went down, and to my pleasure none of them were damaged.
What a world.
