Once again, the night staff will not follow policy, a staff member is refusing to show me her badge and tell me her name
(name) the night nurse supported (unsure of their name) in not telling me her name.
I have spoken with the Client & Family Relations Team Manager about this many times, and he has spoken with the unit manger, but this unacceptable behaviour keeps happening. Something has to change.
There is a reason this hospital policy exists. That staff are required to have their name badges and tell their patients their name. Similar to how police are required to tell the populace their name and badge number, I imagine.
But, on psychiatric units, patients are drugged on pharmakeia. So staff members (and this has actually happened to me too many times, at The Civic too, I remember!) will give their patients a bogus name and see if they believe it or remember their actual name, then comment to themselves about how 'lucid' the patient in question is.
This is unacceptable behaviour.
The patients may be MK ULTRA slaves. They may have been coerced or tricked into taking the pharmakeia (by any number of parties involved), even perhaps with double binds. They may be legally forced to take it, even!
But, the patients are still human beings, who are made in God's image, and deserve to not be emotionally and psychologically abused in this way.
I think I will make a great 'Fire and Safety Clerk' during my stay, which may be until I die, see this post, according to my lawyer and the Consent and Capacity Board.
I will be forwarding this newsletter by e-mail to (Bob JV Arctor - a pseudonym) the Client & Family Relations Team Manager. (Usually I e-mail him, then post it here) - today he will have to research who the (names) are, but he has access to the hospital records.
I am surprised he (nor anyone else?) has not yet subscribed to my newsletter.
If you have any advise on how to draw attention, or gain subscribers, please email me at steven@reynen.ca (that is, if whoever has blacklisted my e-mail allows you on the whitelist - this isn't racist, it's a concept, so please don't start, ha ha!)
Maybe (name) my Public Relations professor from Algonquin College, who I borderline idolized, will reach out to me. I miss him dearly. I would love an opportunity to evangelize to him.
Have a lovely day!
Jesus loves you!
(and so do I)
P.S. Sometimes when things like this, or worse, happen (name) the night manager shows up and talks to whoever hasn't been acting appropriately. Sometimes she even talks to me! She has a lovely smile.
