One of the main things she does is charting. Documenting everything she sees and hears.
I asked her to document what I told her verbally to the best of her recollection and put it in my digital chart, which is private and confidential.
(Dr. Peabody told me that anything I recalled would be dismissed as a delusion out of hand. Which I don't feel is appropriate.)
Sara doesn't comment, much on what I say, but hopefully she is accurate in her charting.
Patients don't get access to the staff's records until after they are discharged.
Usually they leave on the pharmakeia, so it makes matters even more unfair.
Note: Also going through a 160 page document today from the Form D hearing. Scary that if the CCB ruled in my favour regarding the Form D, Dr. Rogers was applying for a Form E (in alternative, they call it) which would just disregard my advance directive anyway. (Granted I could appeal this, too, to the Superior Court of Justice and wait for it to be heard).
(Remember, Dr. Rogers tried to get my SDM [Substitute Decision Maker] the PGT [Public Guardian and Trustee] to agree to treat me pending the appeal, but they said 'no'.)
My lawyer (Mark Handelman) told me he could count on one hand the amount of people who made it to the Superior Court of Justice through the Consent and Capacity Board process, in all his years working as a lawyer focusing in this area. And, if I recall correctly, that he would connect me with one of them, who ended up becoming a lawyer.
Something is seriously wrong with the MHA (Mental Health Act) and the HCCA (Health Care Consent Act), and my story is living proof.
