Lesson Three: The Devil Hates You
When is is okay to treat someone as I have been?
I am a Christian. Granted.
But I am also a human being with needs, wants, desires, and feelings.
When you cut me, I bleed.
I am also retarded (Williams Syndrome). (I am taking back the R-Word).
When is it okay to treat a person made in God's image the way I have been.
By my parents, brothers, "friends", strangers, health professionals, teachers, kinsfolk, the police, the military, the Canadian Government, and Babylon.
What is one GOOD reason ("adhoms" don't count) STARTING WITH:
- Biblically
- Logically
- Morally
- Legally
Why should my brothers and sisters in Christ and I ever be harmed, ever again?
Scripture can't be broken. So we will not be, ever again.
To God be ALL the Glory!
But even temporally, what is one good reason why we should be treated how we are?
Romans 8:33-36
Who dares accuse us whom God has chosen for his own? No one—for God himself has given us right standing with himself. Who then will condemn us? No one—for Christ Jesus died for us and was raised to life for us, and he is sitting in the place of honor at God’s right hand, pleading for us.
Can anything ever separate us from Christ’s love? Does it mean he no longer loves us if we have trouble or calamity, or are persecuted, or hungry, or destitute, or in danger, or threatened with death? (As the Scriptures say, “For your sake we are killed every day; we are being slaughtered like sheep.”)
